NJ Quilt Festival coming March 1-2
The Clifton Quilt Guild is having a small bus trip to the NJ Quilt Festival on Saturday, March 2 and are inviting other guild members (inculding us) to go with them. They need 20 people to make this happen, and it should be fun to meet other local quilters. Cost is $28 round trip. The bus will leave the Clifton Senior Barn parking lot at 9:am and return around 6:pm.
You can contact Michele Kopack at email@example.com if you'd like to save the driving, relax, and not worry about parking. Michele plans to get herself to a meeting of our guild very soon.
P.S. from me -- if you go, be sure to visit the Handloom Batik booth and look at the drop-dead gorgeous Indian batiks you can only get from Usha, who imports them from her family's textile business in India. I'm heartbroken to be missing the opportunity, but I'll be teaching at Empty Spools at Asilomar in Pacific Grove, CA at the time.
